Processing & Origin
Peaberries are carefully sorted from Long Miles’ best microlots throughout the harvest, then combined into a distinctive regional lot. The honey process preserves some of the fruit’s natural mucilage during drying, adding depth and sweetness while maintaining the coffee’s bright, clean character.
About the Producers
Produced by smallholder farmers in Kayanza, Burundi, and organized around the Heza Washing Station by Long Miles Coffee Project. Long Miles works directly with more than 5,700 farmers across three washing stations, providing competitive cherry prices, quality premiums, and hands-on training through local Coffee Scouts. Their focus on traceability and careful separation of coffees by hill and harvest day has helped elevate the quality and consistency of specialty coffee from Burundi.
